Excessive Idling May Increase Fuel Consumption Of Your Vehicle
October 31st, 2009 by Admin

This is a general tip for all vehicle owners, but specifically for those who have been looking for ways to save fuel to make their car fuel efficient. Did you know that idling gets 0 miles/gallon and wastes fuel and money? Further it’s hard on the engine and adds to toxic emissions. If you have a vehicle with larger engine, it’s more likely to waste more gas at idle.

Better is to turn off your engine if you think you will be stopped for more than 30 seconds. This is for general cars, but in case if you’ve a hybrid car, it does all fuel saving automatically and doesn’t need you to take tension.
